Every wall stands tall, a reminder of
A family torn apart by borders, cruel and rough
Rival empires, senile and old
Left them with tales that were too painful to be told
Dispersed by a sea, unruly and vast
Their unity, once strong, couldn’t last
A history that victimized, at every turn
Left them at the crossroads with lessons to learn
Every wall bears witness to their strife
A memorial to a stolen life
A family is broken but not shattered
By the winds of time, they will be gathered
Every wall, a symbol of their pain
A reminder of what they gained
Strength to endure, a will to survive
And a hope that one day, they’ll thrive
Every wall is a testament to their plight
A family that’s sent from sight
A bond that will never break or sever
For they’re a family, now and forever.
